Here are the Top 3 Skincare Goals to Adopt for 2020:

1. Stay Hydrated…with WATER!

Consider hydrated skin your FOUNDATION for beauty. It is absolutely essential to your routine. (Some would even say it’s more important than your moisturizer! *gasp*)

Staying hydrated on the inside means that your skin with remain supple, soft, moisturized, and wrinkle-free on the outside.

When we’re dehydrated, our bodies go into survival mode, pulling all moisture to the organs and AWAY from the skin. That means our skin will crack, crinkle, and wrinkle quickly. It can take months to undo this type of damage.

To keep yourself on track in 2020, buy a reusable water bottle and identify purified water sources. Make a mental note every day to drink water, and remember: if you’re thirsty, you’re already dehydrated!

2. Stop Wrinkles with Facial Massage

There are soooo many natural ways to prevent wrinkles. One of the best methods is a facial massage with a jade roller and massager tool. You can buy a set on amazon for less than $20 and there are plenty of online videos on facial massage techniques.

Facial Massage works best when it’s done on a regular basis, after cleansing your face. Use a nutrient-rich oil for the massage to elevate the routine and take your skin to the next level.

My favorite oils are rosehip seed oil and jojoba oil.

To keep yourself on track for this goal in 2020, place your jade roller and face oil next to your cleanser. Right after you wash your face at night, dab some oil on your face and do a quick & effective massage! Incorporate it into your nighttime routine for the best result.

3. Sleep on Your Back To Prevent Facial Sagging

As we age, our cheeks start to fall, creating nasolabial fold lines and deep jowls. Of course, there are some very expensive procedures that pull the skin back and undo this type of aging.

I prefer to take the natural route first to save money and the headache of cosmetic surgery. One very effective method for preventing this sagging skin is to sleep on your back, instead of your side.

When we sleep on our sides, we are pressing our faces inward and holding that position for up to 9 hours at night! When we wake up, our face holds onto that fold, and it only gets worse over time.

Consider using an anti-wrinkle pillow. This is a cheap alternative to cosmetic surgery and help prevent a sagging face!

Even with all of my efforts, I still don’t sleep on my back every night. HOWEVER, I try my best to sleep on my back when I can, and I always notice a difference in the morning! Try it for yourself.
